for communities

Catch Plastics work with communities to protect our oceans by initiating environmental education programmes, beach clean ups and tailored programmes for local government, councils and businesses

Plastics enter our waterways and oceans through a wide variety of different channels including factories and industry, waste management centers and public behaviours. Simple actions such as dropping plastic on the street or on the beaches could strongly contribute to the increasing amount of plastic we find in our waterways and oceans. Once plastic reaches our oceans and breaks down, it is extremely difficult or impossible to retrieve. Catch Plastics work with communities and local governments to raise awareness and implement suitable programmes to educate the public.

Catch Plastics work with communities to protect our oceans by initiating environmental education programmes, beach clean ups and tailored programmes for local government, councils and businesses aimed at reducing and better managing disposable plastic. Local community events will be held and annual support will be provided with Ocean Certification Awards.
